First post!

No, I don't know what possessed me to start a blog either, especially since I never maintain my journal on GaiaOnline either. But anyway, here it is.

Most of the people reading this probably know most of the stuff I'll write in this post here, but I'll write it anyway.

In fact, I'm really lazy, so I'm just going to copy and paste from my Gaia profile! Mwahahaha!

Ah, what to write about myself?I'm currently a second year at the University of Plymouth studying BSc Computing. It's alright, but gets kinda boring sometimes.I like writing alot. Not fanfic, or poems or short stories, anything like that, but full scale books. My record so far is somewhere aroung 48,000 words on one story.PC games are good. I'm into city building games and the occasional god-sim like Dungeon Keeper 2, Populous, Pharaoh, Caesar, Emperor, all that kind of stuff. Also into Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts in a big way. Ploughing my way through Final Fantasy 12 at the moment. I was expecting to have it finished by now, but I've been so short of time. I should probably spend more time playing the game and less time drooling over Balthier. ^_~Also read books. The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer is amazing, as is the Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke. Also into manga in a small way, not like some of you otaku who are probably reading this. I'm more selective in what I read. I like Chobits, Dr Slump, Dragonball/DBZ (I also enjoy complaining about DBGT), Tenchi and Oh My Goddess.Cosplay has made it's way into my list of hobbies recently too. I cosplayed Android 18 from Dragonball Z back in March, and really loved it. Now I'm obsessed with cosplay, and am making a Dagger costume from Final Fantasy 9 to possibly wear to Alcon in Leicester in September. I'm a fully fledged member of now, and I go there all the time. You can view my profile and costumes here: been self-teaching myself to play guitar in the last few months, and as a result have no feeling in the fingers of my left hand any more. Whoops.
